This Italian Spinoni is a beloved family member, dressed in his kerchief and ready for Christmas. The challenge in this oil painting was to create a unifying background to complement, but not overshadow, this precious face. After detailing the eyes and nose, I could feel this dog's personality ooze off the canvas to play with me! Profits from my artwork are donated to animal advocacy organizations.
