This is Annie's baby. Annie was pregnant with triplets and wound up homeless in a Colorado shelter. A local horse boarding barn owner sweetly adopted her and Annie immediately had much human affection and carrots. The birthing came but only one kid survived (this one), likely due to early pregnancy stress. The baby was perfect and loved by all. I create intimate, intense animal portraiture that interprets a unique sense of dignity and personality - be it joy, desire, or even sorrow, so that each furry individual can be celebrated and cherished, both in the moment, and for life. My imagery celebrates a special presence, an inner spark that connects to ours.
